NEXT CONCERT

Legends of Spain: Guitar by Candlelight

Friday, November 6 7:30 PM

Step out of the noise — no phones, no notifications, no screens — and into candlelit Spanish guitar music performed by Piotr Pakhomkin. For one evening, The Lyceum becomes an old-world salon, filled with the great Spanish repertoire of Albéniz, Granados, and Tárrega — music built on legend, longing, and flamenco fire. Between pieces, Pakhomkin shares the stories behind the music: the myths, the composers' obsessions, the Spain that inspired them. Fifty minutes of a single instrument in a room lit by candlelight, followed by a chance to meet the artist and ask questions.
