Guitarist Piotr Pakhomkin has performed extensively across Europe, Central America, and the United States. Notable venues include the Kennedy Center, Strathmore, Jordan Hall in Boston, Mimara Concert Hall in Croatia, Teatro Pablo de Villavicencio in Mexico, D.B. Clarke Auditorium in Canada, New York's Dweck Center for Contemporary Culture, and Panama's historic National Theater.

After earning his Bachelor and Master degree under the tutelage of legendary guitarist Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Institute, Piotr secured First Prize at the 2012 Mexican International Guitar Competition in Culiacan. He has also achieved top prizes at the Boston GuitarFest International Guitar Competition, Great Lakes Guitar Competition, Montreal International Guitar Competition, and Italy's European International Guitar Competition "Enrico Mercatali."

In 2016, Piotr won the Respighi International Soloist Competition, leading to his Carnegie Hall debut with the Chamber Orchestra of New York's "Masterwork Series" in June 2018. As an educator, he serves as the director of Georgetown Guitar Academy, where his students have won national and international guitar competitions. Piotr is a Naxos recording artist and recently All Music Guide praised his musicianship on the album "Piazzolla: Music for Guitar." 

Students from Piotr's studio have successfully auditioned and received scholarships at some of the finest music schools in the U.S. and Europe, including:
