THE ACADEMY

Fifteen Years in the

Heart of Georgetown

Georgetown Guitar Academy (GGA) is a private classical and contemporary guitar studio in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The Academy works with students at every stage — from those beginning their first instrument to advanced players preparing for conservatory auditions — across classical, fingerstyle, and contemporary repertoire.

Every student is taught individually, against a single standard. Instruction is offered in weekly private sessions across three program tracks. Enrollment is by consultation. A limited number of need-based scholarships are awarded each year.

He completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Peabody Institute under Manuel Barrueco, one of the most celebrated classical guitarists of his generation.
